After two wins last week against East Los Angeles and Los Angeles Harbor there remains one sole game left on the Warriors schedule for the regular season and it is at home against rival Pasadena on Nov. 18. The Warriors swept both ELAC and Harbor in their respective games as its record now stands at 23-1 (14-1).

If you are a Warriors baseball fan, you might remember the bittersweet and confusing ending that last season brought. Despite the Warriors ending in a 3-way tie for 2nd place in the South Coast Conference, with an overall record of 27-15-1 and a 16-8 conference record, they fell short of making the playoffs.
With the playoffs already out of reach, it wasn't difficult to see why the Warriors didn't play as hard as they usually do, team captain Tony Sandoval said. The Warriors lost to Compton 2-1 on Friday at Murdock Stadium in the final game of the season. Assistant coach Eddie Barragan attributed the team's performance to its recent 3-0 loss against Cerritos.
Nobody thought the Warriors could top their latest victory over Cerritos. After facing Compton Friday, however, they were able to do just that. The Warriors won 4-0 and kept their playoff hopes alive. "It was a great win for us to end the season," coach Jaymie Baquero said.
